Katharine Woodward has been interested in basketry and associated crafts, such as chair seating, for over 20 years. In her workshop at Wanstone Court she makes baskets to order and offers short courses in willow basketry. She repairs chair seats using rush, cane, seagrass and Danish cord and, during the early months of the year, uses some of her willow harvest to plant living willow structures.
